Dan Hayes is the founder and President of HC Company, which was established in 2002. He graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Construction Engineering Management and Business. He also maintains a LEED AP accreditation. Dan has an extensive background in construction, spanning over 20 years in the industry. His diverse background experience includes high tech, research & development , office, theatre, industrial, warehouse distribution, restaurant/brewery, food production, and high security/banking construction projects. He enjoys the outdoors, the trails and rivers of Idaho, and spending time with his wife Doniel and two young sons Isaac and Sawyer.

Matt graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and minored in Business Administration. He has an extensive background in construction spanning over 26 years in the industry. His background of experience includes high tech, research & development, office, medical office, industrial, warehouse distribution, restaurant/brewery, food production and high security/banking construction projects as well as an in-depth background with soil and materials design and testing. In addition, Matt also maintains a Construction Management license for the State of Idaho. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and kids.

Jeff has been a Project Manager for HC Company since 2009. He graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degreee in Construction Management and a minor in Business. He has been involved with many facets of the construction industry from high tech, medical, big box retail, large site development and food production projects to smaller tenant improvements and remodels of various types of buildings and uses. Although Jeff has been involved in construction projects all over the western United States he has lived in Boise for most of his life and enjoys what Idaho has to offer. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife Destin and two children Gracie and Connor.

Jeremy graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Boise State University in 2004. With 15+ years of experience he has had the pleasure of working on projects ranging from high rise commercial buildings and high-end offices, to warehouse distribution, large site development, and multiple big box commercial projects including complex multi-phased remodels in a 24-hour per day retail grocery environment. With a passion for construction and a desire for perfection Jeremy enjoys every facet of working with Owners, design teams, and specialty contractors to provide a quality product. In his time away from work Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife Mary Ann, their children Emma and Evan, and their Blue Heeler Waylen. They enjoy exploring the Idaho outdoors together including back packing and winter sports. On his own Jeremy enjoys fishing, hunting, mountain biking and any other sport that keeps him outdoors.

Erica joined us in 2005 with 8 years of experience in the construction field. She has been involved with many facets of the construction industry from big box retail, service & maintenance, and restaurant projects to smaller tenant improvements and remodels of various types of buildings and uses. Erica and her husband Bill have two amazing children, Hattie and Harrison. In her free time Erica loves working out, camping, fishing, rafting, being outdoors and traveling. When she isn’t in Idaho she can be found soaking up the sun with her family in Arizona. She prefers the heat over the cold any day.

Jason Cline has been hired as the Staff Accountant for HC Company. He has 10 years of experience in Accounting ranging from start-ups to multi-million-dollar companies. Jason attended Boise State University and his accolades include making Nationals in the Business Professionals of America competitions three years in a row while in High School. His responsibilities will include company payroll and banking along with AP/AR management and Financial reporting. In his free time, you can find Jason on the soccer field, biking, or on the ski slopes.

Marlyssa was born in Pennsylvania, moved at an early age and was raised in Nampa, Idaho. She attended Eastern Oregon University and has approximately eight years customer service experience including as a call center representative for DirectTV. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family in the outdoors fishing, hiking, four wheeling and camping. You can also often find her on the softball field either playing or coaching.

Gordy comes to us with 25 years experience in the wholesale distribution and technical sales fields. Past roles include sales and branch management as well as commercial HVAC sales. Growing up in a military household, he has lived overseas and traveled throughout the US. Outside of work and spending time with his wife Chauntain or their four children, Gordy can be found riding mountain bikes, snowboarding, road cycling, paddle boarding, or losing golf balls throughout the valley. He is a graduate of Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

Mike graduated from Boise State University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business. He has been involved in the construction industry for 17 years with experience in commercial developments, retail complexes, medical/dental offices, light industrial, tenant improvements, government contracts and various types of buildings and uses. Mike enjoys spending time with his two kids and their Olde English Bulldog Tally. His time away from work is usually spent in the mountains backpacking, archery hunting or on the water chasing salmon and steelhead.

He has eight years experience at the project management level and 15 years previous experience in the customer service industry. James and wife Cheri have three sons, Cameron, Noah and Matthew and enjoy spending time in the outdoors.

Being from the Portland Oregon area, Cameron enjoys spending time in the Idaho outdoors with his wife, Mary Leigh and their daughter, Olivia.

Pat Patterson graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Construction Management and University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Masters Certificate in Project Management. His background experience ranges from large projects at Hewlett-Packard such as manufacturing line construction, cafeteria and servery remodels, computer and server room construction, office refreshes and cold shell building remodels, to smaller projects such as Lobby refreshes, video conferencing rooms, and high security office suites. Growing up in Boise, Pat enjoys spending time in the outdoors and back country with his wife, Cindy and their children and grandchildren.

Chase grew up in the Pacific Northwest and moved to Boise in 2014 to pursue an education at Boise State University. He will graduate in the spring of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management. Chase began his career at HC Company as an intern and was hired on as a full-time employee after two months. With his eagerness and ability to learn, Chase is a great asset to the management team and will bring enthusiasm and attention to detail to every project. When he is not working, Chase enjoys hunting, back packing, fly fishing, snowboarding and spending time with his wife Skylar and their dog Indy.

Austin’s professional career began working for a commercial architecture firm in Eastern Idaho in 2005 were he was involved in the compiling of construction documents and building design. In 2010, he transitioned to construction management, working on projects ranging from 4 Million to 2 Billion Dollars in scope for the State, Federal, and Private sectors. This work sent him to several western states including New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Hawaii, and back to Idaho. Austin graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from BYU-Idaho in 2009. His is a LEED AP, BD+C with the US Green Building Council and has worked on several LEED Projects. In addition to work, Austin also enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and enjoys hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.

Max McKenna began his journey with HC Company as an Intern in 2018. He brings to the team a background in institutional construction and electrical distribution. Kyle was born and raised in Wisconsin and recently moved to Boise with his girlfriend to fulfill their dreams of living out west. He attended The University of Wisconsin-Platteville and graduated in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management and a minor in Occupational Safety. Kyle brings 3 years of construction experience prior to joining HC Company, that include industrial, commercial, and heavy civil construction. When he is not working, Kyle enjoys fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle as well as, hiking, camping, shooting, motorcycles, and spending time with his girlfriend Daytona.

Sean Worthington was born and raised in Rogue River, Oregon. He brings 30 years overall construction industry experience to his role at HC Company; 22 years building custom homes and 8 years as a commercial sector Project Superintendent. Past commercial project experience includes; Fairchild Medical Center, North Medford Media Center and the Salvation Army building renovation in Medford, Oregon among others. Sean enjoys spending time with family, wife Evie, sons Jacob and Cody, stepdaughter Gabi in the outdoors hunting, fishing and attending sporting events.

Dave Bashista graduated with a BS degree in Construction Management and an AS in Business from Boise State University in 2002. He worked Heavy Civil Construction up through college and after graduating. He transitioned into Commercial Building Construction and Land Development nearly 15 years ago and has experience building medical facilities, large and small office complexes, warehouse, studio style buildings, and restaurant/ food production facilities. Dave started at HC Company in 2018. When he isn’t at work you will find Dave at the lake, the dirt bike track or at one of his 3 boys’ sporting events.

Walt is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Business minor from Boise State University. With 29 years of valuable experience, Walt is a workingman’s Superintendent and an asset to the HC team. Walt brings his years of knowledge to HC from working on diverse projects from structural steel commercial buildings to various retail, mixed use, multi-family, tenant improvements; including heavy civil projects with pre-cast bridges, railroad, & transportation. Before joining the HC team, Walt’s portfolio included work for HDR, one of ENR’s top 10 Engineering firms, to Project Superintendent with other local General Contractors. It doesn’t matter the size or complexity of the project, Walt always strives to exceed client expectations to provide results to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. Working on the road away from home the last 4 years, Walt now cherishes his time with his wife, kids, and new puppy.

Jon brings 17 years of construction experience, working on retail, grocery, restaurants and tenant improvements. He has worked his way up over the years from a laborer, foreman, and project manager. Jon and his wife, Shannon, have four kids, Titus, Jackson, Kara, and Michael. He is big on family and enjoys all sports.

Christian comes to HC Company as an Intern-Superintendent currently attending Boise State University. He is a local native, born in Boise and graduated from Mountain View High School in 2018. Christian has previous industry experience working for a remodeling company, excavation company and as a laborer for two general contractors. On his own time he has been coaching optimist football for the last couple of years.

Brian Weinacht began his career with HC Company in 2010 and brings with him over twenty years construction industry experience. Some of Brian’s past experience has included being self employed as a private contractor providing framing and interior trim services. With HC Company, he serves in a similar role, as Foreman for the company’s self-performing labor crews. Brian is from Fort Collins, Colorado, he attended George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon and enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
